Gift Registry Sign Up Process

Below is a sample of a Gift Registry List for Thistle Hill Pottery. There are 2 forms to fill out, one online form and one to mail in or fax.

If you buy a sample piece before deciding on the registry I will give you a gift certificate worth 50% of the price of your purchase when you sign up for the registry.

How it works:

The couple(or individual) works with me to develop a list according to their wishes. Priorities are set to make sure they get the pieces that are most important to them. For example, they might want to get all the plates before moving on to serving pieces. The list is made in order of priority, starting with the pieces most important to the couple(or individual).

The first column shows the total number of pots the couple has expressed a wish for. The second column shows how many of each item have been ordered as gifts by friends and family so far. Friends and family can order pieces to match their budget using the Secure Server shopping cart system. When all the orders are in, I will custom make the set and fire it all in one kiln firing for a good color match. The set is shipped or picked up all at once. For a wedding event the couple understands that family/friends ordering from this registry won't have gifts to bring to the wedding. This is because it is human nature to PROCRASTINATE and most people wait til the last minute to order!

I encourage anyone ordering pots on the Wish List to send the couple a personal card telling what you ordered. I do have a gift card for sale on the list, and I can take care of the card for you if you wish. Just leave me your message in the checkout message area.

The couple will also receive a master list of who gave what when they get the set.
